Managing Director of the Jeje-Ola Properties, Alhaji Taslim Jejeola, said they are focused on ensuring that residents get houses of their own, as shelter is key to living.

The Oma Life Rescue Foundation (OLIRF) has officially launched its flagship “A Million Dream Educational Scholarship Project”, an ambitious initiative aimed at expanding access to education and creating opportunities for Nigerian children and young people.

The programme was unveiled on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, under the theme, “Empowering the Next Generation Through Education, Leadership and Opportunity.”

The initiative, founded by Dr. Omanibe B. A. Ameh-Sanusi, is designed to support the educational aspirations of Nigerian children, particularly secondary school students, by helping to remove financial barriers that may prevent them from remaining in school and achieving their full potential.

The event, which commenced at about 10:00 a.m., brought together government officials, educational stakeholders, students, development partners, private-sector representatives and other distinguished guests committed to improving access to quality education in Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Ameh-Sanusi highlighted the importance of ensuring that every Nigerian child has the opportunity to receive an education, regardless of their financial circumstances. She emphasized the foundation’s commitment to supporting young people and creating pathways through which they can develop their talents and contribute meaningfully to society.

The A Million Dream Educational Scholarship Project seeks to reach one million Nigerian students, with a strong focus on ensuring that children remain in school and have access to the educational opportunities necessary to build a better future.

The launch also featured engaging activities involving secondary school students, including presentations and a debate, providing the students with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, confidence, communication skills and intellectual abilities.

The participation of the students formed a significant part of the programme, reflecting the foundation’s broader objective of not only providing financial support for education but also encouraging leadership, critical thinking and personal development among the younger generation.

Among the distinguished guests at the event was the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Bernard Doro, who joined other stakeholders in recognizing the importance of initiatives aimed at improving educational opportunities for Nigerian children.

The event also attracted notable personalities from government, education and the private sector, including representatives of the National Universities Commission and other educational institutions and organizations.

Jeje-Ola Properties Nigeria Limited, through its Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Dr. Sanusi Teshim Jejeola, was also represented at the event, underscoring the company’s commitment to initiatives that contribute to the development and empowerment of Nigerian communities.

For Jeje-Ola Properties Nigeria Limited, the launch represents more than an educational initiative; it is a reminder of the importance of investing in people and creating opportunities that can positively influence future generations.

The company recognizes that education remains one of the strongest foundations for sustainable development, and initiatives such as the A Million Dream Educational Scholarship Project have the potential to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children across Nigeria.

Through the initiative, the Oma Life Rescue Foundation seeks to work alongside development partners, educational institutions and private-sector stakeholders to expand access to quality education and create opportunities for Nigerian students.

The launch of the scholarship project therefore marks the beginning of what promises to be a significant educational intervention, with the shared vision of ensuring that no child is left behind because of financial limitations.

Jeje-Ola Properties Nigeria Limited commends the Oma Life Rescue Foundation and its founder, Dr. Omanibe B. A. Ameh-Sanusi, for this laudable initiative and remains proud to be associated with efforts aimed at empowering the next generation through education, leadership and opportunity.
